Split is a magnificent destination all year round. Comfortably nestled in an Adriatic bay, in the middle of Croatia’s coast, it is an excellent summer destination, but also very much worth considering for your winter-time travels. During the winter months, beautiful weather, good flight accessibility and a bustling old town make this an excellent place for winter incentive trips, meetings, conferences or team building events. Split is also very affordable, particularly during the winter months.

The look of the city’s main promenade – the Riva – changes in winter as small houses are set up selling souvenirs, local food, gifts and serving as winter bars. With mostly mild winter  temperatures of approximately 10-15C and plenty of sunshine, both locals and visitors enjoy themselves listening to live music, sipping winter drinks such as mulled wine or jaeger tea, and enjoying some great street food. Split is truly a destination for all seasons, with plenty to do, see and experience throughout the year!
