In 2014, Hotel Dubrovnik President emerged as a fantastic, completely renovated 5 star property in Dubrovnik. In the summer of 2015, we expect more fantastic hotels to open in Dubrovnik. The completely reconstructed Hotel Kompas will reopen as a sophisticated 4-plus star hotel featuring 173 rooms and suites. The newly built Hotel Orlando Resort just a few kilometers south of Dubrovnik will feature a seaside location, 239 stylish rooms and 11 suites as well as a fantastic conference hall with the capacity of 1000 pax. Nearby, guests can also enjoy themselves in the stylish Boutique Hotel Mlini, a true oasis of peace next to the sea and featuring 95 rooms with balconies and sea views.

Dubrovnik continues to be the number one destination in Croatia and opening of new hotels in the city in 2015 will only reinforce its position. In order to meet the demands of new visitors many new bars and restaurants have opened in the city in 2014, continually improving the city’s MICE offer. Arsenal tavern in the old city harbour was completely renovated into a sophisticated restaurant for up to 350 pax. For smaller groups, the cosy restaurant Pantarul which serves fresh seasonal food is ideal. We also recommend Prijeko Tapas and Wine bar which has a sensational setting featuring stylish gothic floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik has also gained a fantastic new venue with the recent renovation of the Lazareti complex which used to be the city’s quarantine in the 17th century. Lazareti now offers a 5000m2 multipurpose space which is ideal for conferences, meetings, gala dinners, exhibitions and other events.
