Split has plenty to offer on its own or in combination with another coastal city such as Trogir, Šibenik or Zadar, the nearby islands of Šolta, Brač, Hvar or Vis, the hinterland locations such as ranches and farms, nature preservation areas like Krka National Park or the neighbouring country Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is less than 2 hours away by coach.

ACTIVITIES IN SPLIT
You will be spoilt with choice when it comes to activities in Split and its surrounding areas. A biking or a segway tour around the Split city centre and the Marjan Park Forest is a great way to explore the city in a more interactive way. For those preferring a leisurely stroll, a city tour with wine and olive oil tasting is always popular as well as Game of Thrones themed city tour that also combines a visit to the Klis Fortress.
Split is located close to the beautiful islands of Šolta, Brač, Hvar and Vis and DK Events offers many island exploring activities on board exclusive sailboats, catamarans, speedboats or Dalmatian traditional wooden boats as well as other water activities such as kayaking, jet skiing and scuba diving.
All those wishing to venture out into Split’s hinterland can enjoy river rafting or a canoe safari on the Cetina River or an off-road jeep safari followed by a relaxing lunch by the river. Alternatively, why not head out for a day trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina and visit the historic towns of Počitelj and Mostar for something completely different.
A city rally, treasure hunt or James Bond challenge are all fun team building activities that allow you to explore the city at the same time. For those wishing to spend time by the beach, a boat building competition, beach Olympics or beach volleyball are just some of the team building activities that can be offered.
